Dear Julie,

I am writing to tell you what a great dog Rocky is and how much fun I have had watching him grow up.  He is the third standard poodle I have owned and he is by far the biggest and most athletic.  I have seen him make unbelievable jumps and leaps.  I think he could be a star on an agility course.  Rocky loves the outdoors and especially the snow.  He has grown up to have a great personality and has many friends in the neighborhood.  Everybody knows Rocky - probably  because he is the biggest poodle they have ever seen.  I am so lucky to have gotten a dog who was raised in a loving family environment in the country.  So many pups never get to be with a family or play in the woods.  The way you and Scott raise your pups is the best!  Rocky and I look forward to visiting you soon.  If anyone in Coeur d'Alene wants to meet Rocky or get a recommendation from me for your pups just let me know.

Sincerely, Mike and Rocky

Dear Julie,

Marley has completely won over our hearts!    His disposition is inquisitive, interactive, and polite.  Yep, even polite - he knew from day 1 not to do his business where he played with the kids in the yard (our other dog still doesn’t get that!), and on our walks in the field he will give me a look that says, “Can I chase those geese?”  If they are far enough away and not too many he gets a ‘yes’, and off he goes.  We have walked about 10 yards around a gaggle of geese in the field and he has not chased them or pulled at his leash after ‘asking’ and getting a “NO”.

Marley is a fast learner and loves to please and perform.  He’s very gentle around our granddaughter, yet very protective of his family.  He loves to go for walks.  Running off leash in the 200 acre field by our house is the highlight of his day.
He's also a goof ball..... I swear he has a sense of humor!

As you can see from the pictures I have Marley groomed in a teddy bear cut, leaving his face full, and keeping the adorable top knot and  tail “flag”.  There are so many interesting  details about poodles from grooming to athleticism.  I feel like Marley has opened up a whole new world to us, that only other poodle families “get”.  A unique breed like no other!

..... and on a side note:  each special occasion, such as birthdays and Christmas, Marley gives a ‘poodle prize’, typically something curley, pink, or soft, although poodle prizes last Christmas were all books with poodle wrapping paper.  Even my college age kids look forward to poodle prizes!  They have become quite the family tradition!

Thank you Julie for the time and commitment you have put into these wonderful puppies! My family is so grateful to have Marley in our life!

Julie,

I just wanted to take the time to write and thank you for bringing such a great dog into my life! Geoffrey is very smart dog with such eager attitude to learn! He keeps me very active with his high pace playful personality and outgoing sense of adventure! He’s always been great with kids which makes him a great family dog! Geoffrey has been the highlight of my life and I don’t think I could of found a better dog if I tried! I also wanted to say thank you for always being a great resource for advice and willing to help with any issues I may have had!
Sincerely,
Tabitha and Geoffrey

Dear Julie,

I wanted to give you an update on Caleb.

He acts as if he is ever ready for action, action, action. Full of beans, wants to play and be silly. But capable of scaling it all down in a millisecond to a calm, quiet, relaxed "waiting-for-the-next-thing" mode whenever the situation calls for calm. That always impresses people about a standard poodle: that such an athletic, active dog is not hyper, but appears more like a non-reactive couch potato dog when they are being in polite, moderate mode.

We are working on retrieve. He loves going after and capturing the thrown item so much, that it shouldn't take much more for him to get that if he returns it to me, he'll get to chase it again!

Dear Julie,

I would like to take this opportunity to write about how wonderful of a dog Finnigan is.  He became a part of our family last spring.  Finnigan has a wonderful well-rounded temperament.  He is a calm yet playful family dog. Finnigan did well with his training and follows commands consistently. Finnigan socializes well with my four year old daughter and two year old son.  Finnigan has recently met my 3 week old daughter and does well with her too.  He was very loving to my daughter when I took her home from the hospital.  Finnigan also likes when we have little visitors too.  He enjoys watching the children play and sitting next to them when they are watching a movie.  Finnigan enjoys physical activity such as running and going for long walks.

He is very loving companion and a great dog for our family.

Dear Julie,

I don't think we have ever had a better dog than Java.  He has been so good for us.  He just seems to fit.  We miss him so much when he is not with us, we take him every chance we get.

We are even trying to teach him to "find Dad"  and "find Mom". I think I could brag on this dog all day and night.
