Forever homes

Here is an update on the pups that have gone to their forever homes:

Lundy now lives in California in a family with two small children. His new name is Finn! His family is very pleased with him. See Lundy's page for pictures of him with his new family at the beach.

Ranger's new name is Marley. He lives in a large family and has a Chihuahua buddy. He has brought new life to the Chihuahua, and they get along well. Marley enjoys his active family and even plays football with the teenagers. He sleeps in bed with the teenage boy of the family and has never cried once- not even the first night. Marley loves to go for walks. The family says Marley is the best dog they have ever owned. You can see updated pictures of Ranger at his new home on Ranger's page. Marley's new owner says she is taking him for 2 walks a day. He loves to walk and run. She every visitor she has comments on his beautiful coloring, wonderful disposition and how relaxed and well adjusted he is. See Ranger's page for pictures of him in his new home.

Java's new owners liked his name so much they kept it. He lives with several Shih Tzus as well as his human family. They tell me he has adjusted very well. He learned to walk on a leash the first day. They are working with his training and in addition to "sit" and "down", he has just learned "roll over". Java has already had his first trip to the groomers. He slept thru the entire process! The groomers loved him. Java's owners say that they will send pics soon.

Clyde's new name is Jasper. He lives with a large active family, an older Sheltie and various cats. The family wasn't sure whether their Sheltie would accept a new puppy, so they brought her along to the visit. She tolerated him from the beginning and is liking him better and better as time goes on. Jasper is now leash trained and the family is continuing with his clicker training. He loves to go on car trips with his family. He is crate trained and sleeps in his owner's bedroom. You can see updated pictures of Jasper at his new home on Clyde's page.

Irish is the girl that we are keeping. Her new name is Chantilly Lace. We just love her. She has such a sweet and gentle nature. We do a clicker training session with Chantilly every evening. She is a very focused learner. You can almost see her thinking. She now knows "sit", "down", "stand", "shake", "roll over" and we just started her on "up". She takes walks along with her Mama Grace on leash down to the lake. The first time she went she immediately walked into the lake and laid down! She even put her head under water and was surprised to find that she couldn't breathe! She also walks in the woods with us and our other dogs and stays with us beautifully. She sleeps in our bedroom most nights, occasionally choosing to sleep with her brothers that are still here. You can see pictures of Chantilly on her page (Irish).

Brumby's new name is Jeffrey. Jeffrey sleeps in a basket in his owner's bedroom. He gets along well with a cat companion as well as his best Chihuahua friend. He loves to go camping with his family. Although Brumby was by far the smallest puppy, he is growing like crazy now. His new owners are thrilled with him. You can see updated pictures of Brumby on his page.
