Finn's results (six 3's, two 5's, one 1,
one 4) indicate an average to passive puppy who should be adaptable
and easy to train. He came to and followed our tester easily with
tail up. He did not struggle at all when held on his back, but
struggled and then settled when held in the air. He showed low
retrieving ability- he started to chase the object then lost all
interest. He was loving and affectionate with our tester and sought
her attention. He was not sensitive to touch, which indicates that
he is not a complainer. He was moderately interested in new sights
and sounds, but stayed calm and showed no fear. Finn shows a
balanced personality with good adaptability. He is not a good
hunting prospect, but would likely enjoy a moderately active
lifestyle. He could also adapt to a less active family as long as he
had a fenced yard. Finn is happy in a submissive role and would be
happy taking orders from his new owner.
Puppy Puzzle Conformation results
Finn's conformation scores were
excellent. He is 13 inches in both length and height. His eyes
fit the standard for almond shaped and set slightly oblique,
which was the
best of any pup in the litter. His pigment is black and 100%
perfect. His teeth show a perfect scissors bite. Finn is a
lovely, well balanced representative of his breed. No flaw could
be found in Finn at all. Finn's coat is leaning more toward cafe
au lait now than apricot and is very thick and fluffy. His
temperament was sound - relaxed and alert. Finn is a well
balanced puppy with the conformation to do well in the show
ring.
