 SOLD!

Little Brumby was the tiniest from birth at 8 oz- exactly half the size of big brother Clyde. Brumby was likely conceived the fourth and last day Grace was bred and so is less mature than his litter mates. He was a slow starter and we had to work on him and keep him stimulated so we forgot to write down his birth time. Brumby had to be supplemented from birth with bottled goat's milk as he was too small to compete with all of his littermates. He has held his own though and has developed a real attachment to people due to being bottle fed. He learned to drink his bottle quickly and to cry and let us know whenever he was hungry. At four weeks old, he eats regular food now out of a dish along with his litter mates but is still far smaller than the rest of the pups at 25 oz. He runs around now with his litter mates and seems to have a preference for biggest brother Clyde. We didn't have his tail or dew claws docked due to his tiny size. He is the only pet quality pup in the litter and will be sold at half the price of the rest. He may reach full Standard size or he may always be smaller.

Volhard Puppy Aptitude Test Results

Little Brumby's results (five 3's, two 4's, two 5's, one 1) indicate that Brumby is kind of a sensitive little guy, who is friendly and happy to accept dominance by his humans. He came readily to our tester and followed well two. He was completely relaxed and didn't struggle when being dominated. He showed low sensitivity to touch, but cringed and hid when he heard the loud sound. He showed interest in retrieving, happily returning the object to the tester. Brumby's results are a good match for his new owners, a quite home with no children and one other small dog.

We didn't test Brumby as he was a preemie and Pat says her system is not accurate for preemies.
